I’m used to time tea being on the sweeter end so I ordered it how I normally do 100% sweetness with less ice and my first couple sips. It just tasted like milk so I had gone back in and said no I don’t need another one if you could please just adjust the sweetness or the tea. I’m just tasting milk right now and he told me that they didn’t add anything else. It was just milk in the tea so he asked if I wanted something else I said sure what on the menu is gonna be sweeter and he said avocado tea or I guess I misheard him and I was like that’s gonna be sweeter and he said something about you can adjust based on preference so I was like OK sure, I’ll try that and he ended up handing over to me and avocado slushy, which is not what I wanted. I wanted a sweeter tea so to pay seven dollars and be unhappy twice was not great and I ended up just ordering for milk lab and spending another $70 so I got what I wanted because I didn’t want to be that person going back in for a second time.

I've been going to the MOGE TEE location in Raleigh for years and decided to try to work at the Durham location for an hour and had a different experience than usual. First off, they had a much more expansive food menu than the Raleigh location. On the other hand, their tea menu was very limited, especially regarding fruit teas. All of their fruit teas were very general (four seasons fruit tea, lemon black tea, etc.), and they didn't have favorites like the passion fruit tea. I ordered the Vietnamese coffee, and it was okay. What brings this review down to two stars is the dining experience. All of the staff were behind the curtain in the kitchen, only coming out to the obnoxiously loud ding when an order is received. I had to wait for about 15 minutes to get the wifi password, and the wifi was extremely weak. It was only strong enough to open email or google docs. There are also no outlets accessible to the public in this location, although there is plenty of seating. The absolute worst part of this entire experience is the music. I am almost certain the store was playing an AI music playlist, as for the entire hour I was there, variants of nearly the same song played nonstop. E

Great Sunday evening spot! Very clean, quiet, and a nice vibe with plenty of space. The prices are very reasonable for such a generous amount. I loved experimenting with the menu—the customized Taro Bubble Milk Tea with Strawberry and Lychee Jelly was yummy and a great price. The brown sugar bubble milk tea with taro was so starchy it was basically a meal. It satisfied my sugar cravings! Highly recommend this place for boba lovers.

Always hit up moge tea when I’m in Durham. Some of the best boba I’ve tried in the area and their cheese foam is a party in your mouth. Staff is always super friendly!

really amazing boba tea + food! you can tell the fruits/ingredients are fresh, and everything is made in-house. owner + staff are super kind and warm. the food is also wonderfully authentic and fresh-- a very very welcome break from my college dining hall! underrated study spot for sure (just a short + well-lit walk from east campus)
